Arrowhead inspection service · Oklahoma City
Full-Home Infrared Scan (Thermal Imaging) in Oklahoma City and surrounding Oklahoma areas
What it is
Understand the condition before you commit.
Edward uses a state-of-the-art infrared camera on every home inspection. It is part of how he inspects, not an extra paid add-on sold separately unless stated otherwise. He is an InterNACHI Infrared Certified Thermographer.
An infrared camera translates heat signatures into colours on a gradient scale: higher temperatures appear lighter, while lower temperatures and wet areas appear darker. Infrared is used throughout the full home inspection to add another source of information to the visible inspection and other tools.
Important: A thermal imaging camera is not magic; it is one more tool. The camera gives indications — more data to add to everything else. A suspected water stain is confirmed with a high-quality moisture meter, and the attic above the ceiling or the plumbing may be inspected to trace the source. Thermal imaging shows temperature patterns; it does not see through walls, and it does not identify concealed conditions or latent defects. It is not a technically exhaustive investigation.
What we look at
Look closer.
Know more.
The scope stays grounded in what is visible and safely accessible. If a condition needs a specialist or a different test, we will explain that distinction clearly.
- 01Sources of energy loss and missing insulation
- 02Areas of moisture intrusion
- 03Hot spots in the electrical system
- 04Wood-destroying pest and rodent activity
- 05Flue leaks at the chimney that can lead to carbon monoxide concerns
More information. Better questions.
More information. Better questions.
Thermal patterns can point Edward toward areas that deserve closer attention, helping connect what the camera shows with the home’s visible conditions, moisture readings, electrical observations, and other inspection findings.
For your health
Understand conditions that can affect the people living in the home.
For your leverage
Bring clearer information into repair, credit, and maintenance conversations.
For your safety
Prioritize defects that need attention now, not after the keys change hands.
For your planning
Understand what needs attention and which questions may need a qualified specialist.
Who it’s for
A better question gets a better answer.
Homebuyers and owners who want the full inspection to include another careful look at temperature patterns, insulation clues, moisture concerns, electrical hot spots, pest activity, and chimney flue conditions.

A few useful answers about full-home infrared scan (thermal imaging) in Oklahoma City and surrounding Oklahoma areas.
Is infrared imaging an extra paid add-on?
Edward uses a state-of-the-art infrared camera on every home inspection as part of how he inspects. It is not sold separately as an extra paid add-on unless stated otherwise.
What does an infrared camera show?
It translates heat signatures into colours on a gradient scale. Higher temperatures appear lighter, while lower temperatures and wet areas appear darker. The patterns are indications that are considered alongside the rest of the inspection.
Does infrared imaging see through walls?
No. Thermal imaging shows temperature patterns at surfaces and does not see through walls or identify concealed conditions or latent defects.
How is this different from Moisture Assessment?
Moisture Assessment is a focused service for staining, suspected leaks, recurring moisture, and related questions. Infrared imaging is used throughout the full home inspection as one tool among many.
